The CMP TE1FU is a stainless steel cable gland designed for armoured cables in hazardous environments, certified for Ex eb, Ex db, Ex nR, and Ex ta applications. It features a compact design with a sequential three-step installation process, reducing installation time and risk. The gland uses a unique Compensating Displacement Seal (CDS) for metal-to-metal sealing regardless of cable bedding diameter, a controlled outer load retention seal, and an integral deluge seal, preventing cold flow and ensuring consistent performance from -60°C to +130°C. It includes the OSTG mechanism to prevent overtightening and offers enhanced EMC performance. The gland is suitable for single wire, aluminium, pliable, steel tape, aluminium strip, and screened flexible wire braid armours. Certified to IECEx, ATEX, cCSAus, CCC, CCOE/PESO (India), INMETRO, RETIE, Marine, and UkrSEPRO standards, it meets EN 60079, IEC 60079, ANSI/UL, and CAN/CSA safety requirements with ingress protection up to IP68. Optional accessories include locknuts, earth tags, serrated washers, entry thread seals, shrouds, and ingress discs, and installation is supported with spanners or armour former tools.
