CMP SS2K cable gland is a double-seal, globally approved solution engineered for use in explosive atmospheres with Ex eb, Ex db, Ex nR, and Ex ta protection, providing safe and reliable termination for unarmoured and braid armoured cables. Designed for both direct and remote installation, it ensures superior cable retention and flameproof sealing performance through CMP’s unique displacement seal concept. The SS2K gland features double sealing on the outer sheath or single sealing on both inner and outer layers, offering enhanced safety and ingress protection up to IP68. Operating between -60°C and +130°C, it is deluge protected and suitable for use in Class I Zone 1, 21 and Zone 2, 22 hazardous areas. Certified globally under IECEx, ATEX, CSA, and UKEX standards, it is available in brass, nickel-plated brass, stainless steel, and aluminium with CMP SOLO LSF halogen-free seals, ensuring durability, corrosion resistance, and long-term reliability in harsh industrial environments.
