E1FW GLAND BRASS 20S 1/2" NPT

The CMP E1FW cable gland is designed for steel and aluminium wire armoured cables, offering protection for Ex eb, Ex db, Ex nR, and Ex ta applications in hazardous environments. It features metal-to-metal armour clamping, a displacement-type inner flameproof seal, and a controlled outer load retention seal to ensure secure cable termination. The unique OSTG mechanism prevents overtightening, while its design minimizes cold flow in cables. Suitable for Class I Zone 1, 2, 21, and 22, as well as Class I Division 2 ABCD installations, it operates within a temperature range of -60°C to +130°C. Manufactured from brass, electroless nickel-plated brass, or aluminium, with a CMP SOLO LSF halogen-free thermoset elastomer seal, it complies with BS 6121, IEC 62444, and EN 60079 standards. Certified under IECEx, ATEX, UKEX, and cCSAus schemes, the gland provides IP66 protection (IP67/IP68 optional) and supports EMC-tested performance for global industrial applications.
