The CW Industrial Cable Gland is a heavy-duty, single-seal solution engineered for steel and aluminium wire armoured cables, delivering durable performance through metal-to-metal armour clamping, a controlled load-retention outer seal, and CMP’s unique OSTG mechanism to prevent overtightening, while supporting both direct and remote installation in demanding industrial environments with a standard operating range of -60°C to +130°C and an optional deluge-proof CWD variant; built to BS 6121, IEC 62444 and EN 62444 standards, the gland provides high mechanical strength with Impact Level 8 and Retention Class D, electrical performance to Category B, and IK10 enclosure protection for brass and stainless steel options, along with IP66 ingress protection (upgradeable to IP67 or IP68), and is available in brass, electroless nickel-plated brass, stainless steel, or aluminium, featuring CMP’s LRS outer seal, universal clamping ring, EMC-tested design, and optional kits that include locknuts, earth tags, serrated washers, shrouds and installation tools.
