The SN-170 detects the phase sequence and failure of a 3-phase 4-wire supply. The relay operates normally when phase sequence R-Y-B-N is correct and phase voltages are as rated. It will not ON if sequence is incorrect and will TRIP when one of the phase voltages drops to 70% of rated. This relay is suitable for mains, gen-set boards or motor-starter boards single phasing and phase sequence protection.
