When wired as recommended in relevant standards, it conforms to category 4, performance level PL e, SIL 3 and complies withEN/ISO 13849-1, EN/IEC 61508. It simply ensures a "door-open machine stop" control on your machine, with maximal reliability. It secures the machine and system operation with a key, only available to authorized operators. Its IP67 degree of protection makes it ideal for heavy duty use in harsh conditions. It complies with EN/ISO 14119, EN/IEC 60204-1, EN/IEC 60947-5-1, UL 508, CSA C22.2 No 14 standards.
