Long DescriptionThe Omron DRT2-OD16-1 is a compact remote I/O unit from the DRT2 series, designed for DeviceNet networks in industrial automation. It provides 16 digital output points for controlling devices such as relays, lights, and motors, while functioning as a smart slave that also collects diagnostic data like operation time and output response times for predictive maintenance. Featuring PNP (+ common) transistor outputs, it operates on a 24 VDC power supply (20.4 to 26.4 VDC permitted), with an output voltage range of 0–26.4 V and a maximum output current of 0.5 A per point. The unit includes M3 screw terminals for I/O connections, a DeviceNet communication port, and is designed for 35 mm DIN rail mounting. With an IP20 protection rating, it supports expandability by allowing one additional I/O unit to increase output capacity.
