Long DescriptionOpticMax fiber optic pigtails are manufactured with superior quality connectors, factory polished to provide low insertion loss and low back reflection. Pigtails are available in SC, LC, ST and FC with both singlemode and multimode 900um buffered fiber types. Pigtails are also available with laser optimized 50/125um fiber. All pigtails are 100% factory tested for insertion loss after polishing.Combination Spanners, Spark-resistant tools are used to eliminate the chances of accidental fires or explosions in potentially combustible or explosive environments. Frequent cleaning/re-dressing to remove ferrous particles or contaminants, which may impair the spark-resistant properties, is essential.The single loose tube cable consists of 2 to 96 optical fibres in a single gel filled loose tube. This fiber optic cable provide marginally lower loss transmission, which is better in facilitating long distance communication links (up to and greater than 100km). Its mainly application is for aerial or duct use.
