Colour: black	The 3M™ Fire Barrier Water Tight Sealant 3000 WT is an intumescent, silicone-based, elastomeric sealant designed to provide up to 4-hour fire protection in tested and listed systems. This gun-grade sealant cures upon atmospheric exposure to form a flexible, monolithic firestop seal that effectively helps control the spread of fire, smoke, and noxious gases. With excellent adhesion to a variety of construction substrates, it is ideal for commercial construction applications, particularly with CPVC piping. The sealant is water-tight, minimizing moisture intrusion, and offers re-enterable and repairable properties, making it both durable and versatile. Tested in accordance with ASTM E814 (UL 1479) and CAN/ULC-S114 standards, it features a high-solids formula that limits shrinkage and remains pliable to accommodate typical pipe movement. The product also aids in minimizing noise transfer, providing a comprehensive firestop solution.
