Long DescriptionThe SMC NCY3B cylinder series achieves a 30% reduction in minimum operating pressure compared to the NCY2B, thanks to the addition of a lubretainer. The NCY3B is approximately 10% lighter due to the elimination of excess body weight and a reduced outer cylinder tube diameter. While mounting dimensions remain consistent with the NCY2B, the NCY3B offers a 1/4" bore option that is easily interchangeable with the NCY2B6 by adding the suffix X1468 to the part number.The MY3* Rodless Cylinders have a one-piece carriage and piston that runs its entire stroke length housed with an inner seal belt to maintain air pressure combined with an outer dust seal band to protect from contaminants. This design offers a compact footprint compared to rod-style cylinders and features a low profile. It is available with rubber bumpers, air cushions or external shock absorbers as well as a stroke adjuster unit.
