Long DescriptionOur Bulletin 871A and 889 AC Micro Screw Terminals are passive field-installable connectors for use with raw cable. Our 3-pin style terminal chambers contain screw terminals for quick and easy assembly of custom QD cables on the plant floor. Terminal chambers can be male or female, straight or right-angled, and are available for various cable diameters.The exothermic welding process is a method of making electrical connections of copper to copper or copper to steel in which no outside source of heat or power is required. In this process, granular metals (granular copper oxide and aluminium) are placed from a container into a graphite crucible and ignited. This process is a cost effective method of completing a high quality electrical connection and is also simple to follow.
