Point angle: 118°, helix angle: normal, web thickness: normal, relief angle: 10° - 20°, tolerance of diameter: h8, tolerance of f11. Manufactured to BS 328; Part 1: 1986, DIN 340 RN, ISO 494.The exothermic welding process is a method of making electrical connections of copper to copper or copper to steel in which no outside source of heat or power is required. In this process, granular metals (granular copper oxide and aluminium) are placed from a container into a graphite crucible and ignited. This process is a cost effective method of completing a high quality electrical connection and is also simple to follow.
