Long Description	The exothermic welding process is a method of making electrical connections of copper to copper or copper to steel in which no outside source of heat or power is required. In this process, granular metals (granular copper oxide and aluminium) are placed from a container into a graphite crucible and ignited. This process is a cost effective method of completing a high quality electrical connection and is also simple to follow.	It is designed for general purpose pipe identification on pipes that have a 6 in. or larger diameter, including insulation and may be applied to dirty, oily, greasy or rough surfaces. Installs quickly and easily in older facilities or new construction.
