Long Description	Vermont Gages Thread Gages inspect the pitch diameter and the functional thread for both internal and external threaded products. Thread gages are supplied with a certifacte of accuracy. All Thread Gages are marked with nominal size, threads per inch or pitch metric , class of fit and pitch diameters. One line of additional marking up to 25 characters may be included at no additional cost. Working thread plug gages are used to insure the assembly of mating threaded parts. Vermont Gage inventories a broad range of Working Thread Plug Gages used to inspect both the Unified Inch and M Series Metric product threads. We also carry Left Hand Unified and Metric thread gages, as well as STI (gages for Screw Thread Inserts).	This is an inspection tool used to check a workpiece for the allowed tolerances. The term go and no go refers to the workpiece needs to pass a test(go) and fails the other(no go). It is most suitable to be used in production lines in factories. Using the minimum diameter of the hole as the Go and applying the tolerance PLUS insures that, if the Go plug goes through the hole, the hole is larger than the the minimum diameter. if the tolerance is applied minus on the Go , it is possible to accept product below the minimum stated diameter. Using the maximum diameter of the hole as the No-Go and applying the tolerance MINUS insures that, if the No-Go plug does not enter the hole, the hole diameter is smaller than the maximum diameter of the hole and in tolerance. If the tolerance is applied plus on the No-Go plug, it is possible to accept product above the maximum diameter of the hole.	Make quick and accurate measurements with Vermont Gage pin gages. Measure hole diameters, calculate distances between holes, gages lot widths and locations. Use for Go/NoGo inspection. Set micrometers, verniers and other measuring devices. Size in micrometers and snap gages. These economical gages give you added wear life, unlike closer tolerance gages available on the market today.
