Long DescriptionS coupler series KK employs a unique connection method. A slim body design and large effective area are achieved with a construction that does not use steel balls or valve springs and therefore does not restrict the flow path. Together with a reduction of the body size, pressing parts and resin parts are used to achieve an overall weight reduction.SMC's NCY3B cylinder series, when compared to the NCY2B, reduces minimum operating pressure by approximately 30% using a lubretainer. Unnecessary body weight has been eliminated and the outer cylinder tube diameter has been reduced, making the NCY3B approximately 10% lighter. Mounting dimensions are identical to the NCY2B with the exception of the 1/4" bore, allowing easy replacement. It is possible to order the 1/4" bore (NCY3B6) that is interchangeable with the NCY2B6 by adding the suffix X1468 to the end of the part number.This product supports an operating pressure of -0.95 bar to 6 bar at temperatures from -10°C to 80 °C. It is made of Nickel-plated Brass.
