Long Description	The DUC-5 monitors alternating current. Its setting is adjustable from zero to 5.0A. The current circuit is connected to terminals S1 and S2 either directly or through current transformers. It is designed to sense under current. When the circuit current is above the setting, an internal relay will energize and the red Trip LED goes OFF while the green Up LED comes ON. If the current drops below the setting, the relay releases and the red Trip LED comes ON while the green Up LED goes OFF. Contacts 11-14 close in the Up condition and open in the Trip or No Supply condition.	The W-Phase of the charger alternator of the gen-set, situated at the engine , produces a high frequency pulse train directly proportional the speed of rotation. The frequency of these pulses is converted to an analogue voltage to provide the signal to the trip circuitry. When ordering, the range of speed settings in cycles per second (Hz) for crank cut-off and over-speed must be specified. As the engine starts and the frequency rises, contacts 1-3 close and 1-4 open to cut-off the crank starter. On over-speed, contacts 5-6 close to sound alarm or trip engine.	The NPT-150 is used for monitoring of temperature, for example temperature of pump bearings. The unit works in conjunction with a temperature sensor of type PT100 (DIN 43760) (not included). The trip point can be set by the temperature adjustment knob on the unit. The PT100 probe is connected to terminals 4, 5 & 6 on the NPT-150. There is also a setting for adjusting the delay before tripping from 0 to 10 sec. When the trip point is reached, the ON LED goes off; then after the set delay, the TRIP LED is lighted; and the contacts 11-8 close and 11-7 open.
