Aluminium-bronze spark resistant safety tools are manufactured to 25HRC and offer a breaking strain of 75 - 85kgf/mm2. Spark-resistant tools must be maintained with special care. Frequent cleaning/re-dressing to remove ferrous particles or contaminants, which may impair the spark-resistant properties, is essential.The Atlas 5 Guard Locking Switch is a positive-mode, tongue-operated interlock switch. It locks a machine guard closed until power is isolated then keeps the power isolated while the guard is open. With two safety (N.C.) contacts and two auxiliary (N.O.) contacts, the Atlas 5 switch is ideal for PLC-controlled machines.
