Long DescriptionMedium Load Springs - Blu Colour Code. The heat and surface treatment plus the high quality of steel used in the manufacturing process ensure the springs will bear a high number of stresses without breaking or without appreciable loss of load. Every batch of springs is subject to a rigorous testing procedure to ensure that a consistent quality is maintained. Longer springs should be guided along their course.Mild Steel - Zinc plated to ZN3 specification with clear passivate. All clips lined in EPM rubber which is fully resilient to oils and extreme temperatures (-50 to 160C). Applications include automotive engine compartment and chassis, electrical cables, pipework, ducting, refrigeration and machine installations.For honing of brake cylinders and piston bores with capacities between 51 - 178mm. Self-aligning flexible shaft and leg assembly for smooth operation at all speeds. Honing diameter and pressure is adjusted via a simple, spring and cone mechanism. Suitable for use with a variable speed electric or air drill and fits into all three jaw chucks. Supplied complete with a fine grade stone set. For storage purposes legs are retained in position by a triangular clip. This can be removed using long nose pliers or tweezers and should be retained for further use. Replacement stone sets available. Use brake fluid for cutting lubricant. Overall length: 290mm.
