Long DescriptionThis backplane is part of the Modicon X80 range, a common platform of modules for Modicon M580 and Modicon M340 Programmable Automation Controllers (PAC). This X-bus backplane is an accessory of programmable automation controllers. This X-bus backplane is composed of 8 X-bus slots for X-bus modules only and has a power consumption of 2.21W. This backplane supports a large choice of modules and can be extended thanks to its XBE slot. This ruggedized product can be used in more severe environments and operate in an extended temperature range, from -25°C to +70°C. This backplane has a current of 670mA at 3.3V DC. It is furnished with 1 connector (XBE) for expansion module. It is an IP20 rated product. The backplane has a weigh of 0.95kg. This product meets the needs of our customers from Smart Infrastructure, Water and Waste Water, Consumer Packaged Goods, Mining Minerals Metals, Data centers and Power generation. It meets EN 61131-2, EN 61000-6-4, EN 61000-6-2 and EN 61010-2-201 standards. This backplane is compatible with X80 power supply, M340 or M580 processor, and Modicon X80 modules. Modicon X80 range offers common compatible modules that reduce maintenance and training costs with the same spare parts in stock and unique training for different Programmable Automation Controllers (PAC). Modicon X80 provides a single environment for the deployment of I/O modules in automation architectures.The TLS-GD2 is a positive mode, tongue operated guard locking interlock switch that locks a machine guard closed until power is isolated and ensures that it remains isolated while the guard is open. It has three safety (N.C.) contacts and two auxiliary (N.O.) contacts. The TLS-GD2 head has two entry slots and it can be rotated to provide four actuator entry points. A blanking plug is provided to seat the unused slot. The guard may only be opened when a signal is applied to the TLSGD2 internal solenoid which releases the lock mechanism. This signal can be via CU1 electronic timer relays or CU2 stopped motion detectors. Therefore the TLS-GD2 is ideal for machines which do not stop immediately or where premature interruption of the machine could cause damage to tooling and components or cause an additional hazard.Motor power/brake and feedback transition cables support installations where MP-Series™ (Bulletin MPL) motors with bayonet connectors were recently replaced by the same motor with circular DIN connectors.
