Its primary functions include ensuring mechanical cable retention and establishing electrical continuity through armour wire termination. A unique feature of this gland is its clamping ring, which facilitates easy disconnection of the cable from equipment, making maintenance tasks more straightforward. This innovative design also supports remote make-off procedures, proving invaluable when terminations need to be executed in areas with limited access. Constructed and rigorously tested in alignment with the BS6121:1989 standards, this cable gland also fulfills the criteria set by EN 50262:1999, underscoring its quality and reliability.	Series AN silencers offer various styles and low backpressure in a compact, easy mounting design. The noise reduction has been improved to 30 dB(A) and the case is UL94-V0 grade, flame resistant material. Series AN is available with M, R or NPT threads.
