Long DescriptionThe XS range is an offer of inductive proximity sensors for the detection of metal objects up to 60mm without physical contact. The oscillator produces an alternating electromagnetic field that exits the detection area of the sensor. Any metallic object penetrating this field is then detected. This general purpose threaded cylindrical (M18) inductive proximity sensor is made of metal and it is flush mountable. Its nominal sensing distance is 8mm, it supports 1 normally open NPN discrete output and it has a switching frequency of 1000Hz. It works in a temperature range of -25°C and +70°C, it is dustproof and waterproof (IP68). It is made of metal. It measures 60mm (length) x 18mm (diameter) and weighs 0.12kg. IP65 and IP68 protection makes this product ready for the harshest environments. It is suitable for railway, mobile equipment, lifts and escalators, hoisting, material handling, machine tools, packaging, food and beverage industries, and robotics. This sensor is certified UL, CSA, and E2. It is CSA, UL certified. The main advantage of the inductive detection offered by the sensors of the XS range is that there is no physical contact with the object to be detected.This XCSPL Safety Limit Switch has a stainless steel turret head rotary straight lever with an operation contact to the right or to the left, a double insulated plastic enclosure and a Pg 11 cable gland entry. It has 1 normally open and 1 normally closed break-before-make (slow break) contacts. Its B10D reliability data is 5 000 000. Its IP67 degree of protection makes it ideal for heavy duty use in harsh conditions. It also complies with EN/ISO 14119, EN/IEC 60204-1, EN/IEC 60947-5-1, EN/IEC 60947-5-4, UL 508, CSA C22.2 No 14 standards. When associated and correctly connected to an appropriate safety control unit, it conforms to Category 4, performance level PL e, SIL 3 as described in EN/ISO 13849-1, EN/IEC 61508.
