In the conjunction of the first edition of Sonepar Sustainability Week starting from September 30th, 2024, KVC has conducted KVC Industrial Supplies has conducted an engaging seminar along with an exhibition titled “Sustainable Manufacturing: Advancing Manufacturing Practices" on October 3rd, 2024, at the Courtyard by Marriott, Setia Alam. The event focused on sustainability and energy efficiency in manufacturing.

A highlight of the event was the official launch of Net Carbon officiated by Mr Eddie Wong, Country Managing Director, Mr Ko Chenghan, Executive Director Commercial and Mr Steven Ong, Head, Marketing & Product Management. This significant event reflects our commitment to accelerating decarbonisation across the manufacturing sector and beyond with the goal of becoming the trusted partner for manufacturers looking to reduce their production carbon intensity.

The seminar featured key topics such as KVC Sustainability Readiness and Decarbonisation Offering, Decarbonize with Connected Digital Power Technologies and Services, Leveraging Renewable Energy for a Sustainable Future, Driving Industrial Sustainability with Smart Lighting Solutions, Energy Saving in Factories: Optimize the Air Pressure, Enhanced Machine Safety Portfolio to Improve Productivity, and Unlocking the Future of Heating: Turning Waste Heat into Decarbonization Project Solutions.

Expert speakers from our partners shared valuable insights, providing practical strategies that attendees can apply to their operations.

The event concluded with an insightful presentation on the Domestic Investment Accelerator Fund (DIAF) for ESG Adoption by Mr. Nik Masrul Hisyam Nik Muhammad, Deputy Director of the Sustainability Division at MIDA and Green Incentives & Financing for Green Technology Industry by Rosmah Mamak Rapi, Manager, Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Corporation (MGTC).

Alongside the seminar, a small exhibition showcased sustainable products and solutions from KVC, giving participants a hands-on experience with the latest innovations.
