Even the best technology can be applied in a wrong way. To avoid such situations, KVC has provided an installation demonstration training to our installer customers as well as cable jointer contractors on last week. The objective of this demo is to ensure the installation procedures are correct according to the cable structure and to prevent damages of the cable jointing part in its service lifetime.

During the training, we have demonstrated the MXAW jointing kit which is designed to withstand extreme environmental conditions and high levels of pollution throughout its operating lifetime. This kit includes mechanical lugs that uses shear bolts to tighten the conductor. This method is foolproof as it uses a simple power tool instead of using a crimping tool.

Besides one-on-one training for customers, KVC also provides guidance and suggestions while conducting on-site visits. Other than cable jointing solutions, KVC also provides terminations, insulations and accessories for Low Voltage and Medium Voltage.

Indeed, it was a fruitful training as our customers were able to collaborate and harness the shared knowledge to successfully complete this installation demo.
