news and events / Limit The Risk in Confined Space

Working in confined spaces can create a risk of death or serious injury. Workers are exposed to hazardous substances, noxious fumes, reduced oxygen levels, at risk of fire or a build-up of water. Other dangers may include flooding/drowning or asphyxiation from some other source such as dust, grain or other contaminants. Taking major precautionary and well-equipped can protect workers from death or serious injuries.

KVC has successfully introduced the safety and rescue solution and supplied confined space entry kits to a sole cement manufacturer in Kuching, Sarawak. This helps to ensure that their workers are well equipped to perform their maintenance tasks safely in confined areas. Confined space entry kits include a tripod, winch set, safety harness and lanyard, specifically designed to keep workers safe and comfortable whilst entering, working in, or being rescued from confined areas. The equipment is made of aluminum, as well as the winch and rescue harness is made of stainless steel, which has a longer lifetime.

Other than solution supply, our expertise also provides safety training to ensure customers use the safety kits correctly.

Parallel to our vision of helping customers to build, operate, optimize and enhance their assets every day, we are proud to offer MSA safety and rescue solutions to boost customer operation efficiency by reducing the injuries cases.
